Australian Outback

Luxurious, eco-sensitive and romantic, Longitude 131° lies at the gateway of the dual World Heritage listed wilderness of Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, complete with 5-class luxury and private views of the sun rising and setting over Uluru (Ayers Rock). With just 15 tents in total at Longitude 131° you only have to share this amazing experience with just a few others.

At Longitude 131° you will find unprecedented solitude and serenity. Your luxurious tent is a private place to rest, relax and refresh. No expense has been spared in ensuring your stay with us is a special experience which nurtures your body, stimulates your mind and liberates your spirit.

A white dome roof and flowing fabric draped from the centre create the illusion of camping. But unlike the early pioneers and explorers, guests revel in sublime comfort. The flick of a bedside switch is all it takes to raise the blinds and watch the spectacular moods of Uluru at sunrise. Meticulously designed to remain cool in summer and warm in winter, you have reverse cycle air-conditioning for complete control over your personal climate.

This is "glamping" at its finest and also handicap accessible.

San Juan Island

If you love being in the woods but pitching a tent is not for you, consider an upscale, unique camping experience in their custom-built canvas cabins. Strung like pearls lakeside, each 225 sq. ft. canvas cabin features one queen bed with pillow-top bedding, cotton sheets, pillows and a flannel duvet, a table and four chairs, a cordless lantern, storage, and bath linens.

Lakedale’s glampground is open from May 1 through September 30 and features 13 glampsites. Standard canvas cabins contain either a full-size sleeper sofa or two lounge chairs. Relax on the “front porch” of your canvas cabin with two Adirondack chairs, a picnic table, and a fire ring perfect for toasting marshmallows. There is no electricity or running water in the canvas cabins; however, they are just a short walk to the shower facilities.*

On 82-acres, with three spring water lakes, Lakedale Resort at Three Lakes is an ideal San Juan Island getaway. Easily accessible by ferry or floatplane from Seattle, Lakedale Resort is nestled between Roche Harbor and Friday Harbor on San Juan Island, Washington.
