I recently stayed at the "Carlton on Madison Avenue" in New York. I travel quite a bit and found the hotel to be a wonderful value--great location too. I booked through www.quikbook.com, and my rate was fantastic for the three nights (the day I left the rate went up to $549, not so good). The location is perfect--walk to the village, midtown etc. Comfy rooms. A little too much brass for my taste but I got past it!

Great value for money. 70USD/ night Rooms were not very big and we heart our neighbours through the door but location is great.Overall good experience but didn't meet my expectations for the price. I feel the room could've been cleaner. the lobby beautiful, great view of madison ave. but I think i'll try something different on my next trip.
