Recently visited New York with my husband. We live in Pennsylvania so we get to the city every couple of years. We mainly avoid the touristy things and just catch a few shows, try a new restaraunt, and hit our favorite museums.
I have a few new recommendations to any of you visiting the Manhattan area.
My husband has always been a bit of a John Waters fan and we loved "Hairspray" when we saw it so we decided to try the new musical
Cry-Baby. When we were getting our tickets we also noticed that it has just been nominated for a Tony Award.
It really brought me back to the 50s and I completely identified with the lead girl. I was a good girl back then, but I always had an eye for the boys with motorcycles.
