A Luxury Collection
Golf Resort & Spa

A truly beautiful, serene getaway. Just a short ride to the exciting night life in South Beach Miami
and a short ride back to unwind and refresh.
Blondee's perfect day at the resort:
7am- Awaken to the birds in the trees outside and have room service (coffee in bed).
8am- Relax in the dining room & enjoy fresh orange juice, country sausage and the MOST
Unbelievable, airy, Belgium waffle I have ever tasted! Of course you can have fresh fruit, whip cream and or syrup.... I wanted not one thing on top, it was that good.....
9am- Hit the golf course, listed as one of the top 100 golf resorts in the World.
1:00- The bar area or outside is delightful for lunch. You might be lucky enough to run into the power trio team,
Executive Chef Andrew Cavalotto, Sous Chefs Marcel Martinez & Jaime Bibiloni.
For lunch a must have is the True Foot Long hot dog. Andrew, known for such detail had to search hi and low for the perfect tasting hot dog and a bun that would let the hot dog really look good in it!
2pm- Return to my gorgeous room to make business phone calls.
3pm- Unwind all the way to the lovely spa, steps away (you could choose tennis if you would rather)
note* everything at this luxury collection is opened to the public.
8pm- dinner
I would start off with the dusted calamari and ask for extra chili aioli and would also have a bowl of the pumpkin soup ( which has a tint of banana taste to it).
For my entree it would have to be the Cedar River Farms Filet Mignon.
12am- If I was still awake and feeling a little hungry, I might have to call down for just one last Belgium waffle with nothing on it, then I could go to bed and truly dream about it!
The next day I might take the shuttle over (15 minutes each way, to get back and forth) to the Westin Diplomat property on the ocean in Hollywood and enjoy the sun.
There is only one thing....I would have to come back to The Diplomat Resort for a late lunch. I would have to order the Montrachet Salad.
Marcel and Jaime are very gracious. Marcel loves food to have an intimate, personal touch and Jaime loves detail to food. They really want locals to take advantage of this dining experience. If you live close by and want to dine in the restaurant, you can request to be picked up at your home and returned after dining for dinner.
The success and growth of this property starts with Rick Edwards,Resort Manager ( a man everyone I asked seems to truly respect).
Andrew is refining, with his wonderful team, the service in food & creating excitement.
So pack your bags, no matter how close or how far and enjoy the experience of pure luxury!
